Qiyong Liu: Professor, Director for the Department of Vector Biology and Control, National Institute for Communicable Disease Control and Prevention, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. He was the focal point of climate change and infectious diseases in CSR/WPRO/WHO in 2007-2008, and from 2010 he has been nominated as the LA in IPCC AR5 on climate change and human health. His research interest focus on the key vectors and vector-borne diseases surveillance and risk assessment based on environment and climate change, vulnerability evaluation, adaptation strategy and planning. He has published 150 papers and books in this field, in which more than 30 SCI papers in PNAS, EID, PLOS Medicine, ect.
